It operates as an open, democratic organization, independent of any political or financial group. AECM’s members are mutual, private sector guarantee schemes as well as public institutions (guarantee funds or development banks with a guarantee division) that provide loan guarantees for SMEs.  AECM is going to organize its virtual annual event this year from September 22 to 24, 2021. AECM holds every year an event which comprises the annual meeting of the General Assembly and a seminar: every year they choose a subject that is of interest for their members and they set up a conference program with high-level speakers from the European institutions, supranational bodies, guarantee institutions from all over the world and representatives from our member organizations. And this year’s subject is “Guarantees for economic recovery and to foster sustainable investment’’. Strands develops innovative software solutions that enable financial institutions and retailers to offer personalized digital banking and e-commerce experiences. On September 16th, Strands’ EMEA Business Development Manager, Brian Stewart, and CRIF’s Head of Banking & Insurance Poland, Rafal Plutecki, will host a webinar where they will discuss how can banks have better, more effective and meaningful relations with their customers from the SME segment by offering added-value services based on modern open banking solutions.
