The talk show panel with these speakers will be moderated by Parminder Vir (Co-founder of Support4AfricaSMEs). The two following days will be dedicated to tested and successful solutions in entrepreneurship promotion and MSME development submitted by practitioners as part of a Call4Solutions. These solutions will respond to the challenges and opportunities on three main tracks:  Track 1: Achieving Dynamic and Resilient Entrepreneurial Ecosystems   This track aims to: showcase different ways productive entrepreneurial communities have grown; show participants that ecosystems are everywhere, even if they are at an early stage; and spark ideas and connections for participants to nurture ecosystems that enable entrepreneurs to succeed and generate employment.   Track 2: Accelerating MSME access to financial services through new technologies and skills development program   This track aims to: showcase best practices regarding effective combinations of financial and NFS or business development support services; reflect on the role of new technologies and tools in this domain, and debate on local skills and training-support programs needed in emerging markets.   Track 3: Challenging inclusiveness and environmental sustainability in entrepreneurship promotion   This track aims to: critically reflect on different ways of doing entrepreneurship promotion to achieve more concrete impacts on equality and environmental sustainability. If we keep promoting entrepreneurship the way it is being done, aren't we contributing to the depletion of natural resources and to an unequal society?  Find more information on the event and the Call4Solutions here.  Links to the hosts: ILO: https://www.ilo.org/global/lang--en/index.htm BMZ/GIZ: https://www.bmz.de/en EBRD: https://www.ebrd.com/home IFC: https://www.ifc.org/wps/wcm/connect/corp_ext_content/ifc_external_corpor... In this repository, we will share resources, events, and other vital information relevant to the SME Finance ecosystem. 1. Virtual Roundtable Series - By invitation only Over a period of less than two weeks, since COVID 19 was officially declared a pandemic by WHO on March 11, 2020, the number of people known to have been infected by the virus has tripled. That week, at least more than 330,000 are known to have the virus in over 150 countries and 14,000 have lost their lives to the virus. More and more countries have taken unprecedented and drastic measures to contain the spread of the virus by closing towns, cities, and national borders, disrupting not only the social lives of the people but also the economies, including millions of SMEs around the world.  Starting Thursday, March 26, 8:00 a.m. EST, and initially, for the next six weeks, the SME Finance Forum hosts an hour-long Webex-based Virtual Roundtable Series for Members on COVID-19 crisis. Each meeting features a speaker, who describes their institution’s mitigation actions and efforts. Each meeting focuses on several themes (examples below), though all and any questions are accepted:  Collections/grace periods/other adjustments Managing disruptions to supply chains and their financing; Regulator relations/adjustments to prudential norms Risk management for both existing borrowers and first time (previously non-borrowing) clients  Loan classification and credit information sharing; Government initiatives  Development finance institutions’ responses  These sessions are open to all members, who can suggest other institutions who might benefit from joining as participants, and/or as presenters. The Forum prepares a written summary after each discussion, that is shared on our Members Portal, with access only to members and speakers.
